Warning

I didn't have enough energy and time left to create a full narrative. After a few days you'll run out of dialog and there isn't anything to do anymore.

Instructions

Remember Memory, the matching game you probably played as a kid? In this game Memory is used as a way to solve conversations, with two key differences:

  • Instead of a shared playing field, you both play with your own deck of cards. The objective is to match cards between your deck and that of your "opponent".
  • You don't play to beat your opponent; instead you loose and win together.

So a game of Memory represents trying to get on good terms as in a real life conversation. Depending on the differences in traits it's easier to accomplish that with certain characters compared to others. Some conversation will be a breeze, others are impossible to win.

You will change

Whether you succeed or fail a conversation, getting in touch with different characters will change you (for the better or the worst). After every conversation you have to swap one of your cards with one of your opponent's. Even if a conversation fails, you have learned something and might have a better chance the next time you meet that person. The other way around though, it can (and will) also alienate you from characters you could easily converse with before.
